CALL FOR BURNT OUT INCANDESCENT LIGHT BULBS:

On September 15th, Calgary will be hosting its first Nuit Blanche – an all-night public showcase of contemporary art on the streets of downtown Calgary. As part of Nuit Blanche, local artist Caitlind r.c. Brown is building an 18-foot interactive electrical CLOUD – out of 1000+ light bulbs. Here’s the thing – only one in every six light bulbs actually needs to glow. The rest are purely ornamental. Why waste fresh light bulbs when there are more than enough burnt out bulbs to spare?

In pursuit of inexpensive, re-purposed materials, CLOUD is launching a Light Bulb Drive. Do you have burnt out incandescent bulbs to donate? We'll gladly take 'em off your hands!

W&M Physical Theatre has about 10 large flats/canvas used as a scenic design that we are willing to part with. Several 4x8ft some are 2x8ft . Though we recognize how expensive they are to build, we can't store them any longer and would welcome someone else making use of them.

Workshop Theatre is setting up a new office and is looking for a variety of office items. If you have any items to give away or to sell (cheap) please let us know. If you have anything to give away that is not listed we might be interested. Let us know: info@workshoptheatre.org Thanks!

Items needed:
1. A power bar with surge protection - five or six feet of cable would be nice.

2. A power cord to plug in the printer.

3. A whiteboard-2 x 3 feet or something like this.

4. Racks for filing cabinets to hang file folders on. We have lots of drawers, but not nearly enough racks.

5. A USB connetor cord with one end flat and the other end square. We have one that I found, but both the printer and the scanner need that same kind.

6. Internet connection - I noticed there are a number of wireless networks that came up on the laptop, but I didn't know access keys for any of them.

7. Wireless keyboard and wireless mouse
